By Today I was reminded of the fact that there are three levels of awareness in the world. One, the first level of awareness is the level of the senses. That means there is only one sense that can be applied. There are actually different senses that are applied at different levels of awareness. The senses are like a bridge that lets us know that we are not alone, that someone else is also in the world.
In the same way that the feeling of being in a dark fog can be felt differently depending on how much you are aware of your own fog, so too is awareness of the world. The senses help us to understand our own behavior and it’s ability to do so. Many of us have an inner experience of hearing that is different from the ability to actually hear the music that is playing in the background.
We can sense a person’s emotions and the thoughts of that person while we are being approached and are able to read minds, but we often find it hard to accurately read the inner thoughts of others. We can’t read someone’s mind like we can read the color of their eyes, or the shape of their nose. Sometimes the only thing that’s really in the way of reading someone’s mind is their physical appearance.
Our ability to read minds, especially those of others, has always been something of an interesting quandary. We can read the thoughts of someone by reading their facial expressions, or the way they move their lips, or they can be read by our own minds. As we’ve seen with the example of our own inner thoughts, we can read the thoughts of others by reading their thoughts, or their facial expressions.
At least with our own thoughts we have the advantage of a built in filter to make sure we don’t read a person’s thoughts by reading their physical appearance. That is true with other people’s thoughts as well, but we also have the advantage of having access to their physical appearance. We can read these other people’s thoughts, but we can’t really read their physical appearance. They’re not ours to read.

Luckily, there are plenty of crossword clues to choose from. So many that it’s easy to get distracted by the hundreds of different words you could type, but you’ll learn to control yourself.
