It can be hard to see the bigger picture when you don’t spend time considering your own needs and priorities. But if your business is like mine, it’s very easy to get stuck in the way you do things.
My business is a big oil company with a very small retail footprint. We don’t own retail stores, we sell our oil in gas stations and convenience stores. And we don’t have a retail footprint because people will drive around to our gas stations and grocery stores to get our oil. We’re not evil because we don’t make money off our retail sales, we just make money off the people who do.
