By I’ve been a huge fan of business intelligence for a while now, and I’m very excited to share some of our latest work with you.
We have a lot of work to do, so Ive been getting lots of requests for the next couple of weeks to help you create a new “r” (R.I.C.H.) application for your business.
When you create your own application in R, you can create a business intelligence (BI) database that is based on all the data that you have and allows your users to query it and create reports based on it. This way, you can quickly create reports to help you manage your business. Ive been doing this for a while, and I know you can probably do the same thing with a bit of coding.

It is a great idea, although I’ve heard some customers complain that their company’s BI database is a mess. There are a few things to note here. First, BI is not a database, it is a collection of data. So the data you have in the database and the data you want in your BI reports are two different things. Second, BI is not the only way to get data into a BI database, you can use other databases as well.
Another issue to consider is that BI is often presented in a data-heavy manner. Ive seen BI reports that were presented in a way that was almost like a presentation slide deck, where the data was presented in a specific format. This is fine, but what is needed is more data present in the BI report itself.
r is a new feature in BI that will help you get more data into your BI reports. r is basically a fancy way of saying, “give me more information,” and r is the ability to search through a database for specific data, so that you can easily see exactly who has that information and who doesn’t.
r for business intelligence, of course. r can be a really powerful capability for any BI person (and there are several of us out there). r allows you to ask a simple question like “Who does X?” and then go through the entire list of people, and make a decision about which one of them knows who to talk to.
It’s also a really powerful capability for any BI person because it allows you to extract the most relevant information from a huge amount of data and make a really informed decision about who to talk to. A lot of people are really afraid of r because it can be scary and we sometimes make incorrect decisions about individuals.
