We all want to feel like “I’m in charge of my own destiny.” But the reality is that the people I interact with are the ones who I would be interacting with if I didnt have to. They are the ones who really make my business. So what does that really mean? Well, when it comes to hiring and working with a business, you have to understand the dynamics of business.

I know it sounds like we’re talking about a completely different set of dynamics than the ones we’re talking about, but I think that it rings pretty true in business. You have to be the boss of yourself before you can be the boss of others. You have to accept that you are not responsible for someone else’s actions. You have to be able to take responsibility for your own actions, no matter how big or small they are.

I think it’s important for us to be able to take responsibility for our own actions, but it’s also important for ourselves to learn how to be the boss of ourselves.
