By I have been a student at Business Minor for about a year now. I have been working at the local paper for just over a year and I have a minor in Journalism there.
For those who are a little unsure about the school which is a business major, I’d say that Business Minor is great for those who want to get more involved in the community. They offer a lot of opportunities for community involvement. The community is great here. There are lots of clubs and activities to get involved in and it’s a very diverse community.
Business Minor has a great deal of options to get involved with other students in the community. The school offers some of the most flexible programs on campus. They offer a summer program that allows you to work full-time, summer work hours, and a variety of other different options.

For me, I had no idea what I wanted to do after school. After getting accepted to the summer program I was going to be a corporate lawyer. For the rest of my high school life I would have been a janitor, but then I realized I was going to be a senior and I couldn’t go the corporate route. So I opted to take business minor which was a whole different level of what I expected.
In my time at business minor I have managed to get a few jobs and internships, but I have always wanted to be a real estate agent. I also took a few classes in business management and accounting. However, all of those classes are available when you’re not at business minor. I am definitely planning on taking a summer job or internships as soon as I can.
My summer job might be a little different than most. I’ll be working for a local real estate firm that primarily deals with residential real estate and the only thing that we offer is the ability to set up an electronic signature. I still have to take classes such as real estate finance, and I am not sure what to major in.
