By I think I am a pretty good babysitter: the important thing for me is the ability to show up at the right time and the ability to provide the right service. At this point, I am not sure if I am a good babysitter.
In other words, you’re not a good babysitter if you don’t know when to be there and what to do when.
But if you can show up when you decide, you can show up when you need to be there. Which is the key.
The question is, can you be there in the very first minute? I am not sure, but I think it is possible. We were shown a little video of a few people who had been told to go to a particular location a certain way and I was wondering if I should take a look. In this video, one person, a woman who was about 15 years old, was told to go to a specific location and wait for a particular person to arrive.
Ahem, not everyone who gets told to go to a location in a video is going to be able to do it, but we think it is possible. We are trying to make a good point here, but we think the video makes it seem as if we could be there in the first minute. This is our theory, so we don’t want to say that we are 100% sure, but we are pretty sure.
The video we are referring to is the “Babysitering business cards,” which are a set of business cards that are given to kids who need babysitting. The cards are not meant to be used for babysitting, but rather to remind the babysitter that she should take the kids to the location where they are going to be babysat.
The card we are referring to is a ‘cute’ one that says “Don’t forget to call me before you go to sleep.” I can’t imagine how that’s going to work but hey, it’s a card.
It’s actually a good idea. It’s not necessarily to use when you are doing babysitting, but rather to remind yourself when you are not to take the kids to the same location, especially if you are babysitting at a hotel. I am sure a hotel would probably look at the card and wonder why you are leaving the kids at that hotel in the first place. But it’s a good idea if you really need to set a reminder.
I have made the mistake of using a business card to remember to call my babysitter before I head to bed. So now whenever I am babysitting at a hotel I look at the card and get a feeling in my head that its one less thing to remember I need to do before I go to sleep. This may only be a bad idea for babysitters who dont like using business cards. However, if you want to set a reminder then it works.
The good news is that the babysitting business card is also a handy reminder. The bad news is you should not use the card.
