By I was once a business card teacher for a local business. I was the one who sat in a classroom and students would look at me and say, “Oh, I’ll take that…” I always felt like I didn’t have a lot of training in business cards. The business card didn’t even have to talk.
I have to admit, I was a bit intimidated by the idea of being a teacher. I was in school, I was on a different time zone, and I was a little shy. But I was also so busy the other students would stop by my desk and say, Ill help you with whatever you need. We would talk about everything from how to write a professional letter to how to write in the right order so that you don’t just look like you’re reading from a textbook.
I am a little bit nervous about the prospect of teaching at a business school, but I have a lot of respect for my fellow students. I have a good eye for detail and can usually pull off a convincing smile as well. I am definitely willing to help out and I dont want to disappoint those of you who have a hard time with this.

I teach a class on business card design. I have not used this method myself, but I have used it on many of my students, and I know that it is a good method for making sure your business cards are unique and fun to read.
I have to admit that I don’t always get this question right, but I’ll try to explain. Business cards are one of the most important tools in your business, and not just because they make a statement about you. Not only do they give the impression that you are professional, but they also give you a chance to make yourself more known and visible, thus increasing your sales.
My students will tell you that the best way they can figure out which business card to buy, is by reading their own. I try to give them a few examples of how someone else uses their cards, but they usually end up buying the same ones I see them using when they ask for their own.
You might be surprised to learn that you actually can buy the same business cards people are using. I know because I’ve bought cards from people who buy them from me. I’ve bought cards from people who ask me to get them, or to buy them for them, or as gifts. I’ve even bought cards from people who asked me to get them for them. That’s because I know which cards people are buying based on my own experience.
Many people who are interested in business cards do this because they enjoy the idea of having unique and personalized cards to give away. Personally, I find business cards to be an unnecessary distraction. By giving the person a business card I can actually see what they look like, I can actually see their preferences, and I can even provide the card I thought they might like.
The problem is that this is also a lot of extra work for me to do. I need to take a picture of each business card and hand it to the client, so I need to bring a camera with me. I need to scan the card and place it on their desk so I can see the person’s face. I need to create a business card template and hand it to the client, so I need to make sure I have all the information and images for each client’s card already.
